Guide turns over to double its working
life
A novel 'double-life' low shaft guide for compact linear motion applications effectively doubles the life of the shaft by allowing it to be turned over for fresh surface use when wear becomes evident.
New from Lee Controls is a 'double-life' low shaft guide for compact linear motion applications that effectively doubles the life of the shaft by allowing it to be turned over for fresh surface use when wear becomes evident Both sides of the all steel shaft are counterbored during manufacture, so the shaft may simply be turned and rebolted for use on the new side, says Jim Ashworth, the company's Vice President

Lock stops linear motion
The Linear Carriage Lock will allow users to put a stop in place at any shaft position in linear motion applications.
"From day one Lee Controls has channelled all its efforts into producing precision engineered components of the highest quality", adds Ashworth.
"And ranking right up there with the most stringent manufacturing tolerances is providing exceptional value for our customers' linear motion components purchases".
The Lee 'double life' low shaft guide is sold as a two-piece set; the shaft and support are not attached.
The shaft bolts from the top to reduce installation time.
Shafts may be specified for 60 Plus or 440C precision linear shafting in any length, with shaft diameters from 0.75 to 2in.
Rigidity is assured with continuously supported rail supplied in standard lengths of 48in or less, if needed.
The company also supplies shafts and support rails with hard chrome finish for higher corrosion resistance and maximum performance in severe operating environments.
Many models of ball bushings and solid type bushings will perform satisfactorily with Lee 'double life' low shaft guides.
The company or its distributors can be contacted to determine compatibility of models.
