Fittings fit for new truck standard
Legris Autoline has written and sponsored a new SAE standard for composite push to connect fittings used in vehicular air brake systems.
Legris Autoline has written and sponsored a new SAE standard for composite push to connect fittings used in vehicular air brake systems With the publication of the new SAEJ2494 standard, that will supersede the requirement of DOT FMVSS 571.106 and SAEJ1131, Legris Autoline worked closely with major class 8 truck manufacturers in North America to develop a range of engineered composite manifolds and push to connect fittings that will replace the traditional brass compression fittings

Connect up to 12 nylon tubes simultaneously!
Simultaneous connection and disconnection of up to 12 nylon tubes can now be achieved in less than 10 seconds with the introduction of a multi-connector from Legris.
Multiple tube system keeps pneumatics neater
Neater installation in pneumatic circuits, ease of identification and greater protection are just some of the benefits of a new Multitube system of compressed air nylon tubing from Legris.
Legris Autoline is the first supplier world wide of such composite fittings.
Also, the company is the number one North American supplier of truck integrated manifolds: its manifolds exist today on all Mack Trucks models, Kenworth T2000, Peterbilt 387 and Peterbilt 379, with more manifolds development still underway.
A typical manifold will eliminate the need of about 30 brass compression fittings, reduce the weight by more than 70%, speed up the assembly, eliminate possible air leak, and reduce the cost by more than 40%.
The new composite fitting is made from high engineered material suitable for the automotive and truck industries.
With more than 150 fittings on a typical truck, Legris Autoline fittings will offset the extra weight added by the new EPA engine and improve the fuel economy.
In addition to the aggressive tests that we exposed our fittings to such as high temperature tensile, water absorption, vibration, burst pressure, frozen water, oil compatibility, corrosion, side load, UV resistance, clod impact and much more, we added the swivel capability to obtain a perfect alignment of the tube without over tighten or under tighten the thread.
