Legris' new in-line, one way stainless steel flow controller is available with BSPP parallel threads in four sizes and in diameters from 7 to 12mm

Stainless steel is the ideal material for pneumatic function fittings designed for use in aggressive or corrosive environments, or in ultra-clean conditions such as food manufacture Until recently, however, a problem has been the ready availability of a sufficiently large range of value products to cover the most essential needs

Bridging the gap, Legris had introduced one-way and bi-directional flow controllers and a quick exhaust valve, building on the success of its stainless steel range of flow control regulators and non-return valves.

All components are in superior 316L grade for their proven chemical, mechanical and thermal resistance.

This makes them ideal for use in salt environments, for external use when exposed to bad weather or ultraviolet rays, for use with aggressive liquids in industrial cleaning or when components must be sterilised frequently, such as in the food and health sectors.

To control the speed of a cylinder in an aggressive environment, Legris' new in-line, one way stainless steel flow controller is available with BSPP parallel threads in four sizes and in diameters from 7 to 12mm.

FKM seals are used for their excellent chemical and high temperature resistance.

Working pressure is from 1 to 16 bar and working temperatures are from -15C to 120C.

For pneumatic applications, or for the transport of food and chemical fluids, Legris' in-line bi-directional flow controller is also available with the same thread characteristics as the one-way controller.

Here, working pressure is a higher 1 to 40 bar and working temperatures are from -15C to +120C.

FKM and PTFE seals are used for their high temperature resistance and compatibility with gases, oil, solvents, gasolines and chemicals.

In spite of the compact size and dimensions of both components, a large knurled knob on each controller permits easy and precise finger adjustment.

Completing the range, Legris' new stainless steel quick exhaust valves are available with two types of seal to match the required application.

For fast exhaust of pressure for a more rapid cylinder return, G1/8 and G1/4 thread models feature FKM seals for their excellent resistance to high temperatures, mineral oils, gas, gasoline, solvents and chemicals.

Tube diameter for both thread sizes is 7mm, with working temperatures of -10C to 120C.

Models with larger thread sizes - G3/8 to G1 - help to improve the speed of large ball valve actuators.

Here, polymer seals are used for their high resistance to temperature while retaining compression rebound and resilience.

Tube sizes are from 9-18mm, with working temperature from -20C to +80C.

Working pressure of both stainless steel quick exhaust valve ranges is 2-10 bar.

Legris' stainless steel ranges include LF3800 push-in fittings, compression fittings, connection accessories, ball valves, flow control regulators and non-return valves.
