Analyser puts power quality on the record

A LEM Instruments product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 13, 2005

The VLogQ plug-in power quality recorder can make continuous recordings of mains voltage, plus recordings of electrical disturbances such as brownouts and frequency or harmonics variations.

Poor power quality in an installation can cause malfunctions in sensitive items of equipment.

LEM's VLogQ plug-in power quality recorder can make continuous recordings of mains voltage, plus recordings of electrical disturbances such as brownouts and frequency or harmonics variations.

Flicker measurements can also be made.

The recorder is ready for immediate use: it operates autonomously, so all that is required is to configure it and plug it into a mains outlet.

The data can be analysed and graphs and reports generated automatically using the new PQLogView software.

The VLogQ adds measurement and recording of additional power quality parameters, including transients and harmonics up to the 32nd.

Compact and economical, the VLogQ is a simple and quick troubleshooting tool for identifying and quantifying power quality problems that affect the performance, operation or output of computer and electrical equipment, and electrical installations.

The advanced design of this power quality analyser guarantees precise recording, without loss of data, of the key parameters of the European power quality standard EN50160.
