The Saturn 100 plus from LEM Instruments provides the solution to complying with the stringent requirements for setting up and operating electrical installations (plant) detailed in the various national and international standards such as BS 16th edition BS7671, DIN VDE 0100, OVE EN 1, E8001-1 and NIV.
In particular, it facilitates monitoring of the measures designed to provide for the safety of personnel and the reliable operation of the installation.
The Saturn 100 plus can be used with all line voltages, systems and frequencies and is accepted as the standard for testing installations in.
In addition to this versatility, the Saturn 100 plus provides exceptional levels of guidance and safety for the operator.
Further, the robust rubber cover and housing, protected against spray water, enable measurements to be taken in harsh ambient conditions.
All measurements and calculations are microprocessor-controlled and fully automatic.
Data is shown on a large easy-to-read display of variable length.
Hence the measurements required for FI/RCD tests, with or without the FI protective switch tripped, covering simultaneous measurement of contact voltage, loop impedance or earthing resistance, trip time and trip current can be taken easily and efficiently.
Further standard Saturn 100 plus features include: measurement of insulation resistance at 500 V DC, loop impedance and system internal resistance, automatic low resistance (impedance) with sound warning.
Phase rotation indication with line-to-line voltage and frequency displays complete functions available.
