Lesjofors has unveiled a new industrial gas springs guide, providing everything needed to know about the design, manufacture and performance of gas springs.
Lesjofors manufacturers and distributes gas springs into the industrial, medical, furniture, leisure and automotive sectors.
Its gas springs are easy to use and install and perform a number of critical purposes such as balancing, unloading and lifting or lowering a heavy item easily.
The new guide explains the process of manufacturing gas springs and more, importantly, how they perform and their damping qualities.
The traditional gas spring comprises a pressure tube, piston rod, internal piston, oil, seals and other components.
Lesjofors' gas springs range is made up of both conventional and lockable gas springs, many of which feature a stainless steel tube.
There are more than 700 references in its range and the company is able to meet special requirements and produce bespoke gas springs for a specific application or purpose.
