PLC specifically controls inverter
drives

Lenze's new Drive PLC is designed to be a PLC that specifically controls inverter drives, and offers advantages such as the built-in CAN system bus and IEC1131-3 programming

Lenze launch a unique new product, the Drive PLC Designed as a PLC that specifically controls inverter drives, the new Drive PLC offers high performance and time saving features

It matches the Lenze vector range of frequency inverters with advantages such as the built-in CAN system bus.

The Drive PLC is programmed in the IEC1131-3 suite of languages, already familiar to engineers involved with PLC programming.

Lenze offer software called Developer Studio for writing programmes, debugging and simulation.

Furthermore, there is a library of application based programmes specific to inverter drives, for example: limit switch positioning; traversing and temperature control.

These programmes simplify the machine designers' task and speed up development times considerably.

As a low-cost device, performance is remarkable! Up to 50K instructions can be stored.

Typically, processing times are below 0.3ms per 1,000 binary instructions.

The I/O can be extended to 512 including digital and bipolar inputs and outputs.

Snap-on modules allow serial communications by PROFIBUS, INTERBUS, CANopen, DeviceNet and RS232/485.

The Drive PLC offers small size, high performance and low cost for applications such as door drives, tensioning, HVAC temperature control and cut-to-length. Request a free brochure from Lenze ...
