The Panasonic Hyper-G range of geared motors is now available ex-stock at Lenze.

Offering a wide range of benefits including relatively low cost, an IP65 enclosure, highly accurate speed holding and remarkably compact dimensions, these high-performance geared motors are ideally suited to applications in small precision machinery, including check weighers, metal detectors, pumps, polishing and grinding machines.

The Hyper-G range is available in four powers from 30 to 130W.

The largest 130W geared motor offers output speeds between 3 and 600rev/min and has a body length of just 78mm.

Even when combined with the matching gearhead, which offers ratios of up to 100, its dimensions are still very small.

The technology employed in the geared motor range utilises three Hall-effect sensors that provide motor positional data back to the drive.

Compared with a conventional AC geared motor, this provides a far superior speed holding of better than +/-1%.

The Hyper-G range runs from a single-phase 220 to 240V supply, offers a 10:1 speed range with full torque and a peak torque of 200% for much of that range.

A detachable keypad is standard, as is UL and cUL approvals for the North American market.

The Hyper-G range of geared motors represents a step up in the performance of small geared motors compared with conventional motors and inverter technology.
