The Lenze G-motion range of geared motors available from Bedford based Lenze Limited is now available with IP65 protection
Popular demand has resulted in new power ratings and options.
SDS motors take a market position between standard three-phase synchronous and servomotors, both in terms of performance and cost.
They can be used with frequency inverters, or achieve even higher performance with servo inverters.
The compact smooth body is supplied without a cooling fan resulting in low noise levels.
Class F insulation and a high capacity for voltage spikes suit inverter operation.
The extended power range now covers 75-600W in four frame sizes.
Spring applied holding brakes are an option.
Motors can also be supplied for open or closed loop drives with resolvers or incremental encoders.
In closed loop configuration, a 1000:1 speed range is possible together with controllable torque at zero speed.
SDS motors can be supplied as geared motors, usually built from stock parts.
Helical, planetary and bevel designs are available with output torques up to 260Nm. Request a free brochure from Lenze ...
