Lenze G-motion geared motors now available as IP65
The Lenze G-motion range of geared motors available from Bedford based Lenze Limited is now available with IP65 protection
In view of this, Lenze has carried out a risk analysis of its extensive gearbox modular system.
As a result, design modifications have been made, and G-motion helical-bevel, bevel, helical, shaft mounted helical and helical-worm gearboxes now comply with ATEX Category 2 conditions.
The gearbox range was designed so that different types and sizes could be combined with any standard Ex motor using normal flanges.
Mechanical engineering companies are therefore able to select the ideal drive unit for their application in potentially explosive areas.
Motors and gearboxes can also be easily detached from each other for maintenance.
This considerably reduces the number of spare parts held in storage.
The Lenze G-motion range has a power range up to 45kW and output torques up to 12,000Nm with finely stepped output speeds and high gearing quality. Request a free brochure from Lenze ...
