Software simplifies servo applications
With its self-explanatory graphical user interface, the L-force Engineer is paving the way for use even by those without expert knowledge to commission drive controllers.
Servo drives take control of machine safety
Drive-based safety is a further evolution of the concept of drive-based automation, in which intelligence is built into decentralised drives.
Openness means L-force products work with international and open standards, providing increased productivity and economic efficiency.
L-force includes central and decentralised control technology - gears, motors, software, I/O, HMI, motion and logic control in drive and PC based solutions.
But it also includes services such as run-time software and "L-force engineering", a universal software concept from planning through set-up to diagnostics - with common data storage.
This new form of engineering focuses on the mechanics of machines and offers the option of re-using previously developed solutions through the use of libraries.
Equally comprehensive and application specific is L-force run-time software: it contains ready-to-use solutions and technology functions for the quick implementation of winders, positioning units or electronic cams.
The entire solution can be drive or PC based; parameter setting is easy or alternatively programming in all IEC61131-3 languages is supported.
"L-force represents the conversion of our customers' visions into reality", commented Lenze Group Chairman, Dr Erhard Tellbuscher.
"It will increase their productivity and efficiency".
"L-force is an open and scalable system which can also be adapted or expanded to perform new tasks in the future". Request a free brochure from Lenze ...
