Servo drives arrive ready for use
The new design concept of the 9400 servo with plug-in modules allows the customer to specify the exact configuration needed.
Servo drives are rated up to 200kW
The Lenze 9400 servo drives, part of the L-force portfolio, have been extended with eight new models taking the rated power up to 200kW.
The Lenze 9400 is a servo system with a new mechanical concept that benefits both the machine builder and the end user.
Drives are available for individual axes up to 30kW (105A peak) and multi-axis up to 11kW (57A peak).
Innovations include integrated safety technology to SIL 3 and provision for remote maintenance.
The new backplane mounting concept allows the power cabling to be pre-installed in the cabinet together with DC bus connections and brake control.
The drive electronics can then be clicked into place by hand without any tools being required.
The machine builder gains by saving assembly time.
As all the control connections are pluggable, the end user gains the ability to exchange a drive in seconds.
The modular design for the 9400 servo system allows the customer to choose the fieldbus, memory capacity and level of safety functionality.
The costs relate directly to the performance required.
Modules for each function simply click into place in the front face of the drives.
This gives a high degree of future-proofing.
For example, drive software can be updated or a new fieldbus added without changing the drive.
The 9400 servo drives are capable of a high degree of customisation and are supplied pre-assembled and tested to that specification.
However in practice the drive itself is standard, and the customisation is achieved by clicking into place performance modules. Request a free brochure from Lenze ...
