Lenze has developed the EL100 HMI series for applications requiring the higher level of flexibility and functionality offered by the Windows CE operating system.

The series also features a visualisation system specifically adapted to the hardware - VisiWinNet Smart.

With display sizes ranging from 5.7 to 10.4-inch and integrated VisiWinNet visualisation, these Windows CE panels are cost-effective and powerful devices for operating and monitoring.

The Windows CE operating system provides functions similar to those offered by a PC.

They are compact with a flexible graphical user interface and available as touchscreens.

All the EL100 HMIs are fitted with tried-and-tested IPC standard interfaces.

These offer a number of possibilities for communication with master controls and for integration into the Lenze L-force portfolio of products.

As well as standard CANbus, other interfaces such as MPI and RS232 are available.

Furthermore Ethernet, USB A and USB B interfaces facilitate industry standard communication with higher-level PCs and allow for the connection of additional disc drives, printers, keyboards or other communication media.

The VisiWinNet Smart visualisation system was developed for machine-orientated visualisation tasks and to meet the requirements of the EL100 series.

Clear and simple user interfaces mean that applications can be created very quickly and easily.

A project wizard assists the user when it comes to selecting target hardware and provides a suitable basic configuration which can then be adapted for each project.

Furthermore the system is characterised by its user-friendly configuration process, optimised alarm management system and simple user management option.

With Lenze operating systems users always have the right solution for every application and even the most complex processes.

EL100 Windows CE panels are available in mono or colour for 24V supply with resistive touchscreens.

The operating system is Windows CE 5.0 and user memories of 32Mbyte (flash) and 64Mbyte (RAM) are built in.
