Geared servomotors offer large torque
range

The size of the MC servomotor range allows design engineers to exactly match the drive to the load and achieve optimum machine performance.

The MC range of Lenze geared servomotors has expanded to cover more than 7500 selections with in-line or right-angle gearboxes This standard range includes synchronous motors with rated torques from 0.6 to 32Nm and asynchronous motors from 2 to 55Nm

Selections are fully documented with data on torques, inertias, service factors and thermal/mechanical limits.

This allows design engineers to exactly match the drive to the load and achieve optimum machine performance.

Not every machine needs the small size and low backlash of planetary gearboxes.

A new small helical gearbox has been added to the MC geared servomotor range with ratios from 2.5 to 60 and output torques up to 45Nm.

The choice of right-angle geared servomotors includes the high-efficiency bevel and helical bevel models, as well as a low-cost helical worm.

Overall the MC range extends to torques up to 11600Nm.

For most applications with servomotors, gear ratios tend to be about 10 or less.

However for unusual requirements ratios of up to 1400 are possible.

Standard gearbox options include feet, flanges, hollow shafts, shrink discs and food-compatible oils.

Options for the synchronous and asynchronous motors include either resolvers or encoders which can be incremental or absolute.

Permanent magnet holding brakes can be integrated.

Power and control connections are by plugs with optional cables or to a terminal box .

Customers can specify an IP65 enclosure. Request a free brochure from Lenze ...
