IronCAD 7.0, the latest release of the well known CAD solid modelling software, contains some interesting new features These enhancements will enable users to create more complex shapes, quicker and more easily

The resulting models will be faster and easier to transfer to 2D drawings with enhanced dimensioning and sectioning.

Non-IronCAD users will be freely able to view and print IronCAD drawings and models.

The new IronCAD assembly/multi-part feature allows multiple parts of an assembly to be modified by Boolean operations from a mating part simultaneously.

Variable radius blends and variable wall thickness shelling enhance IronCAD's surface shaping abilities.

Loft shape with enhanced guide curve control enables more complex organic shapes to be generated, free from the restrictions of simple shapes previously available.

Other new features include: additional surface and 3D curve creation/modification tools; layer and style access on projected geometry in the drawing; bidirectional modification of transferred dimensions in the drawing; 2D drawing groups and screen-side drag and drop catalogues of 2D blocks and symbols; additional view creation and modification tools; and user driven dimension creation/display enhancements.

In addition, 3D and 2D viewer support for IronCAD scene and drawings enable anyone without IronCAD to view and print 2D or 3D drawings in IronCAD format for free.
