Logis-Tech Associates now delivers a Higher National module (nationally recognised SQA certified short course) on "transmission of measurement signals" by distance learning.
This module covers: pneumatic transmission systems; electrical transmission systems; modulation and multiplexing; and digital transmission systems.
The module is aimed at technician/engineer/supervisor level and is worth one credit.
This credit can be used towards an HNC in electrical, electronics, mechanical, multidiscipline, instrumentation or chemical process engineering.
An HNC in engineering consists of 12 credits (SQA/university accredited).
