Logis-Tech Associates now delivers a Higher National (nationally recognised SQA certified short course) module, "Engineering principles - mechanical" by distance learning.

This module covers: bending beams; torsion of shafts; temperature stresses; rotational kinetics; and kinetics of motion in a circular path.

The module is aimed at technician/engineer/supervisor level and is worth 1 credit.

This module can be taken on its own merit and is also a core unit of the HNC in engineering.

An HNC in engineering consists of 12 credits.
