Novel route to double engineering qualification

A-1 Technical Training has devised a novel method whereby any student worldwide can obtain a double HNC in engineering qualification.

A-1 Technical Training has devised a novel method whereby any student worldwide can obtain a double HNC in engineering qualification.

A normal HNC in engineering involves obtaining 12 credits (seven or eight engineering modules plus the project).

But by careful selection of modules a student can obtain a second HNC qualification without the taking on any extra modules (although a further registration fee has to be paid).

The student needs to complete six of the eight modules of the first year of an HND in engineering (awarded by a UK university) which also form six out of the eight modules of the first year of the BEng (Hons) in multidiscipline engineering (awarded by a UK university).

The HND and the BEng programmes are both by distance learning, but formal examinations are involved.

This scheme provides two HNC qualifications for the work of one (and indeed approximately for the price of one).

It is also very impressive on the CV to have two separate HNC in engineering qualifications.

The ultimate goal of all students studying via A-1 Technical Training, Logis-Tech Associates is the BEng (Hons) in engineering.

However, on route the student obtains two HNC qualifications and an HND in engineering.

It is still all very hard work, but is achievable to all if they put in the time and the effort.
