Agreement provides 48-hour turnaround cutting service and stock delivery programme for Ball Monorail linear guides with a range of carriage types and accessories.

LG Motion has signed a new agreement with Schneeberger Linear Technology to provide a fast, 48-hour turnaround cutting service and stock delivery programme for the prominent Swiss manufacturer's profiled Ball Monorail linear guides in sizes 15, 20, 25, and 30 with a range of carriage types and accessories.

LG Motion has a unique knowledge and experience of Schneeberger linear bearings, having been building its precision rails and slides into custom engineered positioning systems for some time.

The new agreement will allow LG Motion to help OEMs, specialist machine builders and integrators to design-in and implement the complete range of Monorail profiled linear guideways with recirculating cross roller bearings for applications requiring large load carrying capacity, high stiffness and ability to withstand shock loading.

Ball bearing based recirculating linear guides are also available as well as nonrecirculating cross roller bearings, complete slide assemblies and positioning tables.
