A new agreement allows LG Motion to sell and support the SMAC range, with its proprietary linear motor technology that allows programmable control of speed, position, and force.
LG Motion has announced its appointment as UK Distributor Partner for SMAC Europe, a provider of electronic moving coil actuators, positioning stages and electronic control solutions.
The agreement enables LG Motion to sell and support the SMAC range, with its proprietary linear motor technology that allows programmable control of speed, position, and force for a wide range of linear and rotary positioning, measuring, inspection and pick and place applications.
SMAC electronic moving coil actuators are widely used for single and multi axis positioning solutions in automotive, SMT, robotics, pharmaceutical, medical assembly, laser cutting, high-speed scanning, glass cutting, dispensing, switch testing, spot welding, soldering, and many other measuring applications where 100% verification is required.
LG Motion is a designer and manufacturer of linear and rotary positioning tables and associated motion controls.
Both standard and customised products are supported by distribution agreements with several world-class motion control equipment producers including Schneeberger linear bearings and rotary tables, Agile Systems advanced motion controls and drives, and the Empire Magnetics range of specialist motors and power transmission products.
