Displacement probe shrinks in size
Lion Precision has released a 3mm diameter noncontact, capacitance displacement probe.
Added to this are two analogue inputs for any sensor that has a voltage output.
These four signals can be combined mathematically and can include peak capture and TIR readings.
Complex measurements can be achieved using differing sensor technologies without having to process voltages through an external computer program.
Six preset configurations are easily selectable and three user-defined configurations can be created and saved.
The system includes a colour TFT touchscreen display, small thermal printer and an attached accessory pouch that holds the printer, sensors, manual etc.
The GageMaster has been used as a single unit solution for basic displacement measurement, two probe thickness measurement, running step height measurement and complex measurements like multi-sensor type film thickness measurement.
