The Tritor range of three-axis positioning systems combine compact design without mechanical play, for motion up to 400um.

The Tritor range of piezo positioning systems, supplied by Linos Photonics and manufactured by Piezo Systems Jena, have been developed for application such as optics positioning, laser tuning, fibre positioning and any application requiring resolution in the nanometre and subnanometre range.

The unique Tritor elements are extremely compact, starting with the 15 x 15 x 15mm MicroTritor with 38um of travel and 0.02nm resolution, up to the Tritor 400 with 400um of available motion.

To avoid drift and hysteresis the Tritor systems are available with an integrated strain gauge or capacitive measurement feedback system.

This combination of design, and control electronics make a highly stable, linear and repeatable closed loop system.

As required by a diverse marketplace, both vacuum and low temperature versions are available.
