Linear measurement system offers 5um
resolution
The high transmission rate of BiSS and the 1Vpp signals enable the SMA1 to handle feedback applications on linear motors and linear axes.
Lika Electronic has released the first linear measurement system with BiSS interface and sine/cosine output The complete unit is made of an SMA1 absolute magnetic sensor and an MTA1 coded magnetic scale
Resolution can be programmed down to 5um on a measuring length of 5.1m.
The system electronics are completely integrated in the sensor head, including the BiSS interface for absolute position output and 1Vpp sine/cosine signals.
The high transmission rate of BiSS and the 1Vpp signals enable the SMA1 to handle feedback applications on linear motors and linear axes.
BiSS allows the user to set absolute resolution and counting direction.
The robust IP67 rated system housing allows the sensor to work in harsh environments, protected against spray and washdown as well as dust and debris.
All Lika products are manufactured according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
