Encoder range covers many options

A Lika Electronic product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 4, 2008

Incremental and absolute encoders have a wide range of applications, and are available with a wide range of sizes, shaft types and output options.

The range of transducers available from Lika Electronic includes both absolute and incremental encoders.

Incremental encoders are available with both standard and hollow shafts (through-hollow shafts and blind-hollow shafts).

The hollow shaft versions are available from 6 to 210mm diameter, with a range of output options that cover NPN, PNP, push-pull, line driver and universal circuits.

Resolutions are available up to 18,000 points per revolution, and the operating temperature range goes from -40 to +100C.

Similarly, both standard shaft and hollow shaft versions are available for absolute encoders, and output options cover Gray code, binary, BCD over parallel, serial (SSI, ISI) and fieldbus interfaces.

The incremental and absolute encoders have a wide range of applications, for position control in many types of automated machinery and for position and speed feedback in motor control.

All Lika products are manufactured according to the UNI EN ISO9001:2000 standards.
