The innovative team at Le Mark Group, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire has developed the first ever nonburn self-extinguishing matt black cloth (gaffer) tape to meet the high standards of BS5867.
Le Mark did not rest on their laurels following the winning of twin awards for both innovation and environmental impact at PLASA 2002.
The opposite in fact, the company once again sort to innovate and develop a product that everyone in the Industry can benefit from.
Gaf-Fire has all the user requests built into it: waterproof, easy unwind, nonreflective finish and low residue transfer on most surfaces.
Gaf-Fire provides the "missing link" in industry's flame retardant armoury.
It can be used in both horizontal and vertical situations on soft and hard surfaces, without compromising its flame retardant properties.
This simple yet massive break through in "tape technology" impacts on many areas, for the industry from pyrotechnics through to theatre safety.
