Lemo has appointed Farnell to distribute its connector range, initially in the UK and Ireland.

Thomas believes Lemo's inclusion in Farnell's catalogue will give engineers the opportunity to purchase smaller quantities of their high quality connectors when also selecting components, cabling, cable accessories and other hardware from Farnell's wide range of products.
It will also be able to fulfil smaller deliveries for emergency requirements as a result of Farnell's 24 hour, 365 days a year service and next day delivery promise.
Thomas explains, "Engineers are using the 'one-stop-shop' approach more and more, for prototypes and development.
We believe Lemo's inclusion will mean engineers will not have to compromise in design choices or opportunities when sourcing precision electrical, electronic and fibre-optic connectors".

Products covered include: Lemo's popular B Series multipole connectors, available from size 00 (6mm diameter) and capable of handling up to 10 signals; miniature 00 series 50ohm coaxial connectors which have formed the basis of the NIM-CAMAC standard; the self-latching high-voltage (3, 5, 8 and 15kV) range with a safety locking ring to prevent accidental mating; and the Redel P range of plastic connectors, ideal for medical applications and featuring Lemo's self-latching design and precision contacts.
Housing style options include free plugs, panel sockets, inline plugs and sockets and PCB-mount sockets, depending on the connector model.
Accessories include plug and socket caps and cable strain reliefs.
