The Engineering Services Division of LMS International has set up a new vehicle engineering competence centre for ride and handling in Turin, Italy The new competence centre groups top-class engineers in ride and handling, with a joint experience of over 45 years in vehicle development programmes at major European automotive OEMs and tier one suppliers

The creation of the new engineering team complements the expertise of LMS in key performance areas such as NVH, acoustics, structural integrity and durability, and strengthens the capabilities of LMS Engineering to take up full-vehicle engineering projects.

For over 25 years, LMS Engineering Services has been building strong relationships with automotive OEM and leading suppliers, setting new standards in performance engineering and taking development responsibility for numerous subsystem and vehicle development programmes.

The LMS expertise applies to the full product development cycle, from pre-concept and initial design optimisation, over detailed modelling and virtual prototype engineering, up until the final prototype testing and refinement stages.

LMS has taken a particular focus on optimising the reliability, sound quality and comfort of the vehicle, and provides innovative solutions for all key aspects that shape the experience of driving a vehicle.

Based on the strong market demand for such combined vehicle engineering expertise, LMS Engineering decided to extend its capabilities and recently formed a team of top engineers in Turin, Italy.
