Cutter pump goes the distance
A new high-pressure cutter pump for long distance pumping of heavily contaminated liquids has been developed by Landia.
The high pressure version is capable of pumping long distances (more than twice the distance of conventional equipment).
Both the high-pressure and medium-pressure cutter pumps are easy to dry-install because they can be mounted at virtually any angle.
A full range of custom mounting equipment is available to adapt to most existing systems.
With motors ranging from 0.55 to 30kW, this highly efficient pump has a specially designed pump casing and impeller.
This keeps the inlet opening free of impurities and produces the most effective pulverisation of particles, which often clog up weaker pumps, causing removal, cleaning, repair, inconvenience and lost production time.
