Lin Engineering, the inventor of the step motor which possesses the best step accuracy in the step motor industry, also offers an extremely affordable solution to your high accuracy step motor needs.

The lightweight 0.9degree NEMA size 17 high accuracy motor offers excellent step accuracy and is available with a low-cost optical encoder.

The size 17 motor is available in three lengths: 1.10, 1.38 and 1.54inches.

The motor is capable of a holding torque that ranges from 12oz-in to 30oz-in, depending on the length of the motor.

The inertia that is emitted by the stepper is quite low; between 0.07oz-in2 to 0.13oz-in2.

Unipolar and bipolar windings are available in order to allow for the torque and speed required to accommodate your application.

The E2 encoder is compatible to HP HEDS-550 encoders.

It is capable of tracking up to 100,000 cycles per second and available with resolution from 32 to 1250 cycles per revolution.

This compact optical encoder design is available with TTL level and quadrature outputs.
