A Manufacturing Advisory Service - London product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 19, 2006

Budding entrepreneurs bursting with a bright idea for a new product should make a bee-line for the London Manufacturing Advisory Service stand at the B2B Exhibition later this month.

Budding entrepreneurs bursting with a bright idea for a new product should make a bee-line for the London Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) stand at the B2B Exhibition in Earls Court on 27th and 28th June 2006.

London MAS will help to turn the best idea presented to them at the exhibition into a business reality by providing a launchpad to get the product developed and out into the marketplace.

The DTI's manufacturing hot shots will give a free place to the winner at one of its half day Intellectual Property workshops, held in conjunction with the Patent Office, plus up to two free days support from its specialists, worth GBP 1800.

The support will help the winner develop their product - from sourcing manufacturers to produce a prototype, to researching potential markets and planning a business development strategy.

London MAS provides free or subsidised support to the capital's 16,500 manufacturers to help them develop new products, reach new markets, make productivity improvements and stimulate long term business growth.

And at 1215 BST on Wednesday 28th June, Colin Allaway from London MAS and British and European Patent Attorney Matt Dixon will be giving a 45 minute seminar on IP in the Sales and Marketing Theatre at the exhibition.

"Don't give your assets away - understanding your intellectual property rights" will explain how to protect concepts or new products - an essential part of successful business development.

Entrance is free to the B2B exhibition, which features over 200 stands and 50 informative seminars.
