Dutch organisation to join international
community

The celebration of the 10th anniversary of LonUsers Netherlands on 9th June in the heart of the historic city of 's-Hertogenbosch was a memorable day, and will be remembered as the day LonUsers Netherlands set the scene for important changes.
Chairman Eric Hamers (Director of system integrator Van Dorp in Breda) noted in his speech: "For several years now, we LonUsers Netherlands have felt that the time was coming to take the next step in our evolution".
"By carefully watching developments in the Dutch building market and the dynamic activities of LonMark affiliates around us in Europe, we put together a new marketing communication strategy for the coming years and have initiated a clear action plan".
This plan is to intensify co-operation with other LonMark organisations throughout Europe and to combine with the marketing, technical, and educational initiatives of LonMark International.
Also "at home" LonUsers Netherlands is now initiating a fresh and different marketing approach.
"Congratulations to LonUsers Nederland on their 10th anniversary, a truly historic occasion".
"LonMark International is looking forward to the LonUsers Netherland's members joining the world wide LonMark family".

The celebration of the 10th anniversary started with a boat excursion along the underground river in the ancient city of 's-Hertogenbosch.
The river Dieze flows underground like a fluid LonWorks network: mainly invisible and very essential for the existence of the city.
At the end of the day the LonUsers Netherlands members raised their glasses to the new LonMark Nederland logo which was revealed by the board.
