Certification road show kicks off

A LonMark International product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 16, 2007

The LMI's road show is aimed at anyone who wishes to learn more about real cost and energy savings with interoperable systems.

LonMark International (LMI) kicked off its world-wide educational tour in April.

With already over 1000 registrants, the road show will be continuing throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia until October this year.

The free seminars are available to everyone, from facilities managers to street lighting system suppliers, who wishes to learn more about real cost and energy savings with interoperable systems.

The value of the seminars for expanding the open controls market is recognised by key sponsors: TAC, Echelon, Trane, Distech Controls and ViaBus.

Moreover, the sessions provide ample time for attendees to network with each other and the sponsors.

There will be a live demonstration of LonWorks technology, designed to create a cohesive solution from multiple vendors.

Directly following the seminars, Lonmark offers the Lonmark Certified Professional Test.

Anyone who passes this test will become a qualified expert in creating interoperable systems using LonWorks technology.
