MagniCell closed cell silicone sponge from MTI Leewood is now available in five standard ASTM D-1056-00 grades in addition to FDA/BgVV compliant grades.
Rolls, sheets, moulded parts, custom profiles, tubing, cords, buns, or fabricated to customer specifications.
MagniCell closed cell silicone sponge is billed as the all-round performer when it comes to industrial, military and commercial applications.
It is an economical silicone sponge for a wide range of applications.
It comes in sheeting, profiles, tubing and different colours and hardnesses.
The silicone compounds can be customised to meet specific needs.
MagniCell has closed cells; it is flame retardant, inert and will not support fungus or bacteria growth.
It insulates, seals, absorbs and protects.
MagniCell is used in applications such as: UV/ozone resistant high performance gaskets; thermal shielding; condensation seals in gas fireplaces; seals in equipment access panels; frame gaskets for locomotive transformers; high temperature insulation tubing for autoclaves; soft seal rings for filtering technology; and vibration mounts.
