A MTI Leewood product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Mar 21, 2006

Thermal and acoustic insulation system is a multilayer design that addresses unwanted airborne and structure-borne noise without adding excess weight.

The Polyfab thermal and acoustic insulation system is a multilayer design that addresses unwanted airborne and structure-borne noise without adding excess weight.

From MTI Leewood, it uses lightweight, flame-retardant materials prefabricated for each area of the aircraft.

MTI Polyfab systems include applicable engineering drawings for ease of installation, part traceability and maintenance, and are compliant to FAA ruling number 25.856 (a).

The technique can adapt the insulation system to any model of aircraft.

Experienced field technicians can install the insulation system on the aircraft or train a company's own personnel as required.

MTI also provides engineering support and STC certification.
