Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 16, 2006

Specialised silicone rubber displays outstanding flexibility in extreme low temperature environments.

MagniQ LT from MTI Leewood is specialised silicone rubber displaying outstanding flexibility in extreme low temperature environments.

Suitable for use in a range from -116 to +200C (ASTM 2137-A), MagniQ LT also has excellent resistance to UV and ozone degradation and is suitable for use in most clean environments.

It does not support microbacterial growth.

The material is available as sheets, flat gaskets, extruded tube, cord or profiles and moulded parts.

MagniQ LT silicone rubber is not suitable in environments where it comes into contact with oils fuels and solvents.

Here, MagniQ FS fluorosilicone should be selected as it offers excellent performance under these conditions.
