Sound blocking elastomer is a low smoker
Silicone elastomer is specifically designed as a sound blocking layer to reduce the transmission of sound in interior spaces.
MagniQ A2 is a proprietary grade of MTI silicone elastomer specifically designed as a sound blocking layer to reduce the transmission of sound in interior spaces MagniQ A2 is also designed to inhibit the spread of smoke and toxicity to ensure compliance with the most stringent of regulatory environments
Typical applications include: aircraft sound and FST barriers; underfloor applications in railway carriages; engine compartment fire/sound blankets; air ducts; and equipment protection.
