Michael Hennessy, CEO of Lovejoy, has revealed two key promotions, effective in the first quarter of 2004.
Michael Hennessy, CEO of Lovejoy, has revealed two key promotions, effective in the first quarter of 2004.
Kevin Remack, Product Manager, has been promoted to the position of Director, Product Management.
The company reinstated this position in its executive lineup to better service its growing global clientele and diverse parts inventory.
With 21 years of service at the company, Remack has held several different roles, starting initially as a machinist and working up through the company ranks.
In his new position, Remack will develop and oversee strategies for products that Lovejoy currently represents and could supply to customers in the future.
The focus of the position will be on servicing the clients' greatest needs and specifications.
Remack earned his degree in engineering from the University of Chicago, while employed at Lovejoy.
He lives in Naperville, Illinois with his wife and son.
John Ernst has been promoted to National Sales Manager.
Ernst also has a long history as a Lovejoy employee with 14 consecutive years of service.
He started with the company as a Sales Representative in the Mid Atlantic region, was promoted to Northeast Division Manager, then Eastern Division Manager.
As National Sales Manager, Ernst will direct and oversee the sales and marketing activities of Lovejoy products by the US-based representatives and the North American sales force.
He lives in Aurora, Illinois with his wife and three daughters.
"These promotions bring to our customers Kevin and John's wealth of product and industry knowledge in more pivotal and influential roles", said Hennessy.
"This will help our company better service our customers' needs and help up develop new products and support new market channels".
