Project design and management company Lorien Engineering Solutions has won one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards for 2002.

The Gold Medal, the company's ninth, was presented as a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Sunday 19th May by the President of RoSPA, Lord Faulkner.

The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards, sponsored by RMC, are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they are also about ensuring that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place.

They help to reinforce the message that good health and safety is good business and clearly demonstrate an organisation's commitment to the achievement of high levels of performance in this crucial area.
