A second President's Award from RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) for Lichfield-based project management specialist Lorien Engineering Solutions has brought its total number of top-level safety awards to 12.

The President's Award is one of the Society's highest awards and is given to companies which have maintained a very high level of health and safety within engineering and construction.

Lorien Engineering Solutions attained its first President's Award last year, having received Gold Medals for the preceding ten years.

Just 44 organisations in the UK received a President's Award this year.

Health and Safety Manager Malcolm Mifflin said: "Achieving the highest levels of health and safety is a justifiable expectation of our staff and client organisations".

"We remain committed to achieving the best performance through co-operative work involving our clients, subcontractors and our own designers and construction supervision staff".
