UK-based project management specialist Lorien Engineering Solutions has agreed an alliance with global engineering consultant Mott MacDonald to provide brewing solutions to international customers.
Lorien Engineering Solutions, the UK's leading multidisciplined engineering company working within the brewing sector, has announced it will work in close partnership with Mott MacDonald to deliver first-class technical and project management capability to international customers.
Mott MacDonald's multidisciplined operation in India will act as a detailed design hub, with project implementation supported by the consultant's local offices around the world.
Mott MacDonald - a wholly independent company with more than 8000 staff engaged in development in over 100 countries - has considerable expertise in the fields of international project management, design engineering and project economics.
Lorien has over 20 years' experience of implementing brewing projects with capital values up to GBP 40 million.
Independence from equipment suppliers allows the company to provide impartial solutions, and numerous technical evaluations, business plans, development studies and designs are undertaken for breweries based outside the UK.
Both companies are anticipating major brewing industry expansion in a number of countries, and believe that significant opportunities exist for an alliance that can offer both technical and project management capability combined with the necessary geographical reach.
Lorien's Steve Slater, who has responsibility for the company's brewing projects, said: "We've known Mott MacDonald for some time and are very pleased to formalise our relationship so we can now offer this solution to the marketplace".
