Nykobing waste water plant bought a LPP-T40 pump to replace a mono pump which frequently broke down and was both difficult and expensive to repair.

Larox Flowsys' LPP-T40 peristaltic pump has been running without any problems for 18 months at Nykobing waste water plant in Denmark.

The pump has not required any service since it was installed.

Nykobing waste water plant bought a LPP-T40 pump to replace a mono pump which frequently broke down and was both difficult and expensive to repair.

With the LPP-T40 only the hose is in contact with the medium.

Larox pumps are also self-priming and have a dry run capability.

In the application, slurry with 4% solids is pumped from de-watering unit to a storage tank, 11m up and 50m horizontally through a DN100mm pipe.

The LPP-T40 pumps work in shifts of 600 to 900 minutes each, working 1000 hours a year.

The pump is frequency-controlled and mounted with a hose leak detector switch.
