Larox Flowsys unveils basic LPP-M pump

Larox Flowsys has introduced a basic version of its LPP-M pump in addition to the current smart version.
While the current version (called LPP-M2-S) contains multiple automatic input/output (I/O) control and alarm modes, the basic version (LPP-M2-B) will only have a single manual output control mode.
The technical features, such as the flow rate, pressure and suction lift, remain the same, but remote adjustment and different feedback signals are omitted from the basic model.
According to the company, the basic version is more economical than the smart version and it is suitable for processes that have their own control centre and that do not need a separate one in each pump.
The basic model offers process solutions with more possibilities, said Matti Riihimaki, vice-president of Larox Flowsys.
Larox Flowsys's pump family of consists of LPP-T (transferring) pumps with a flow range from 0.22m3/h to 40m3/h, LPP-D (dosing) pumps serving flow rates between 0.06m3/h and 2m3/h and LPP-M pumps with a flow range from 0.23 litres per hour to 126 litres per hour.
The company claims that its solutions have low life-cycle costs as they consume less energy than competing pumps.
They are said to be easy and quick to maintain and their only wearing part, the hose, lasts longer than in conventional hose pumps.
The company's product range includes pinch valves and peristaltic pumps.
Larox Flowsys focuses on abrasive, corrosive and other shut-off, control and pumping applications serving a range of process industries worldwide.
