Lattice3D has revealed that its first quarter sales in 2005 hit a new record level, more than tripling 2004 Q1 revenues.

The company added prestigious customers in all its target markets - new customers in defence, aerospace and automotive industries including L3 Communications, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Toyota (USA and Australia) and Nummi, a GM/Toyota joint venture.

Lattice3D develops and markets leading 3D communication and publishing applications on a robust platform to enable the rapid use of 3D data assets downstream of design.

3D CAD models and designs can be used directly in print and online user and employee manuals, parts lists, maintenance instructions, assembly instructions, IETMs and more.

"The surge in sales this last quarter is evidence of a real thirst for 3D data downstream of design", said Alexander Garcia-Tobar, CEO, Lattice3D.

"We are proud and delighted that our customers recognise the powerful combination of our ultracompressed 3D XVL format, our 3D publishing applications, and our robust backend integration capabilities".

"It was particularly satisfying to see growth in all of our target verticals and geographies".
