Software creates 3D spares catalogues
Emhart Glass is using Lattice3D's 3D publishing software in combination with Docware's Part-Publisher for the production of electronic 3D spare parts catalogues.
Emhart Glass, the world's leading international supplier of equipment, controls and parts to the glass container industry, is using Lattice3D's 3D publishing software in combination with Docware's Part-Publisher for the production of electronic 3D spare parts catalogues Emhart Glass, headquartered in Switzerland with offices in over 100 countries, selected the integrated solution following the successful completion of a pilot project

3D publishing software shares CAD files
Lattice Technology has released XVL Studio 6.3, driving innovation, collaboration, and communication with ultra-compressed XVL, a format which reduces 3D CAD files into lightweight documents.
Trial publishing software freely available
Lattice Technology's XVL Studio solves the multi-CAD problem by allowing users to assemble models from different CAD systems to automatically create new XVL files.
Docware began integrating Lattice3D technology into its applications in late 2004, with the intention of using the very-high-compression of XVL to advantage for customers with many 3D data assets that can be leveraged downstream.
The pilot project, that was successfully completed in February 2005, allowed a customised spare parts catalogue to be produced for Emhart Glass' highest performing production equipment, the NIS (Next Generation IS Machine) with the aid of Dokman.
The 3D illustrations (automatic exploded views and 3D line drawings including list data), integrated in the spare part catalogue, were generated directly from the Pro/Engineer CAD data using XVL and the Lattice3D applications for rapid use of 3D data assets in publishing.
"Docware has integrated the Lattice3D technology so convincingly into the Parts-Publisher catalogue software, that the decision for their software was easily made", stated Max Braendle, Managing Director of the Swiss company Dokman that supports Emhart Glass in the provision of 3D spare part catalogues.
Emhart Glass was so pleased with the very fast results with Parts-Publisher and the integrated Lattice3D software, that the technology is already being used in production of further customised catalogues in its product line. Request a free brochure from Lattice Technology ...
