Lattice3D has revealed that it will add 3D XML support to its XVL-based applications.

Lattice3D has revealed that it will add 3D XML support to its XVL-based applications.

Lattice3D develops and markets leading 3D communication and publishing applications on a robust platform to enable the rapid use of 3D data assets downstream of design.

3D CAD models and designs can be used directly in print and online user and employee manuals, parts lists, maintenance instructions, assembly instructions, IETMs and more.

To date these applications have only been available for XVL but with the adoption of XVL by Dassault as the basis of 3D XML, Lattice3D will produce a 3D XML set as its applications.

"We will be delighted to bring our 3D publishing applications to Dassault customers as a suite of 3D publishing applications", said Alexander Garcia-Tobar, CEO, Lattice3D.
