L-3 Communication Systems West has purchased Lattice3D's 3D Publishing platform as part of its initiative to further optimise its operations and provide an even higher level of service to its clients.
L-3 Communication Systems West, a division of New York based L-3 Communications, has purchased Lattice3D's 3D Publishing platform as part of its initiative to further optimise its operations and provide an even higher level of service to its clients.
Lattice3D's technology is being employed to provide interactive documentation for use on the manufacturing floor, and for interactive design reviews that will shorten the path from product design to implementation.
"We are delighted to have a company as technically sophisticated and well-regarded as L-3 integrate our 3D Publishing technology into their workflow", said Alex Garcia-Tobar, CEO, Lattice3D.
"This is yet another sign that 3D Publishing has come of age, and that interactive 3D documentation is fast becoming commonplace in manufacturing and other key business processes".
