Option unites XVL and PDF formats

As part of Lattice's 3D everywhere data distribution strategy, the new XVL Studio U3D Option means that compatibility between Lattice's XVL format and Adobe's PDF is now assured and fully supported.

"We recognise that our customers need to share 3D data throughout their organisations, suppliers and customers and we will support the tools necessary for them to achieve their goals".
The new XVL Studio Option can convert a products structure tree, geometry, colour, viewpoint, and animations from XVL to U3D format.
Adobe Systems Acrobat 3D can generate 3D PDF by using the U3D format.
As 3D PDF is displayed with Adobe Reader, any documentation with 3D data can be distributed in PDF format.
The U3D Studio Option is available for $995.00.
