Lattice Technology has introduced a converter created by Siemens PLM that supports the JT format.
The XVL converter server for JT automates rapid conversion of JT format files into XVL.
With its support of the JT format, Lattice Technology's Digital Manufacturing solutions can now convert JT data into the XVL format, which delivers up to 10 times more compression than similar JT formats.
Once in XVL, the data can be used in digital mock up (DMU), motion simulation, assembly animation, process design and instructions, and illustrations direct from 3D to enable digital manufacturing processes throughout the enterprise.
