Lattice releases German language XVL Player v10

A Lattice Technology product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 11, 2009

Lattice Technology has released a German language version of its free XVL Player version 10 and XVL Player Pro.

XVL Player allows users with 3D XVL data to view, rotate and cross-section 3D geometry, check assembly trees against 3D parts, play animations and view BOMs, annotations and other data within the XVL file.

The player works with Windows and allows users with low-specification PCs and no CAD knowledge to quickly explore and understand 3D data.

XVL v10 can compress 3D CAD data to 0.5 per cent of its original size with no loss of accuracy.

Tools include easier navigation of the user interface to more easily access the range of controls available to view and interrogate the 3D data, as well as tools to change the behaviour of process animations saved within the XVL file.

This version of the XVL Player is available for free, following registration on the Lattice Technology website.
