Lattice Technology has announced that it will be exhibiting at the upcoming COE 2009 aerospace and defence industry workshop being held in Fort Worth, Texas, on 26-27 October 2009.
COE, formerly the Catia Operators Exchange, is an independent, international organisation uniting users of Dassault Systemes software solutions.
The organisation has more than 80,000 users in 400 member companies, representing the aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, shipbuilding, industrial machinery, electronic and plant design industries.
Lattice supports users of 3D computer-aided-design (CAD) software by providing the downstream use of 3D data across the manufacturing supply chain.
The company's XVL solutions feature digital mock-up and technical documentation tools that are intended to deliver productivity improvements to manufacturers.
The XVL format delivers a lightweight and accurate 3D format, which means that 3D data can be used and manipulated on low-specification PCs.
At the event, Lattice will be showing its new Lattice3D Dataway application, which enables the conversion of multi-format 3D CAD data into XVL applications.
The company will be demonstrating the speed and accuracy of XVL applications in design review and process design, the creation of interactive work instruction documents into PDF and how 2D and 3D technical documents for manufacturing are created directly from 3D data using XVL.
XVL data can be shared and used as interactive 3D in PDF, Microsoft Excel, HTML and other formats.
